This month you can hear about our visit to Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate, where we were a selected for a place at the Rudding Park Dragon’s Den event to pitch our wooden food serving board range and bespoke bathboard’s. We also attended Deighton Lodge’s fabulous wedding fair near York where we met lots of lovely couples, find out more about their venue below. We have secured a place at a brand new market coming to Acomb in York organised by Little Bird Artisan Markets and will also be back at Harewood House near Leeds in March for their Spring Artisan market on Mother’s Day weekend! Plus you can now hire our wooden event items all made in Yorkshire for your special day…

New Skills…
Rebecca from Spruce York is continuing her studies , last year she completed City & Guilds Level One Carpentry and Joinery, this year she is back at college on an evenings studying City & Guilds Level 2 Site Carpentry to bring new skills back to our workshop. shes been working on hanging doors, fitting staircases, skirtings and architraves and making balustrades and is currently working on building a roof. The course is predominately focused on learning traditional techniques using hand tools. Level 2 finishes in May 24 when Rebecca will qualify!
Meet the Dragons! Spruce York pitch at Rudding Park’s Dragon’s Den event in January!
We were delighted to be invited to pitch our wooden products to The Rudding Park Dragons at their Dragon’s Den style event.
We created a Rudding Park branded cheeseboard with cheeses from the menu’s of The Clocktower brasserie and Horto Restaurant at Rudding Park.
The Dragon’s also requested to see our animal dippy egg boards and bespoke bathboards for in the bedrooms. We find out if they will be ordering in the next month or so, it was very competitive with 9 other fabulous Yorkshire based brands being shortlisted to the finals along with ourselves.
Rudding Park have kindly donated a overnight stay and spa break to a charity of our choice as a thank you for us taking part. We are happy to have chosen
The Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre in Harrogate to receive this donation which will be available as a prize in one of their upcoming fundraisers.
Deighton Lodge Wedding Fair
We recently attended the Deighton Lodge Wedding Fair near York, it was a fabulous day and we would like to thank all the Brides and Grooms to be who came to say hello and Deighton Lodge for organising this event. New Little Bird Made Artisan market coming to Acomb, York!
We will be coming to a brand new market in Acomb on Front Street, York on the 16th of March and the 18th of May, please come along and support us.
Harewood House Spring Artisan Market
